We have a wonderful selection of foliage and flowering plants for all light conditions, in sizes from two inches to eight feet tall, and can help you fill in your tiny desktop terrarium or your homes great room. We take pride in being able to provide unique plants for our customers and are always trying to get new and interesting stock. Take home the prolific blooms of a flowering orchid, along with our hand-crafted orchid soil and beautiful containers specifically for them. If you’re up for the challenge of the ancient art of bonsai, we can help you get started with that, as well. We maintain a close relationship with both the Greater Lansing Orchid Society and the Mid-Michigan Bonsai Club, both of whom host seminars and demonstrations at the greenhouse occasionally.
We offer a repotting service for plants that have outgrown their current containers, and our knowledgeable staff can assist you with care tips and guidance for all your indoor plants. Browsing through the greenhouse can brighten the dreariest of days, and you can brighten your surroundings in the same way with house plants and flowers.
Information on repotting: We love repotting your plants! Bring in any of your houseplants to have us clean them up, diagnose any problems, and give them a repot when necessary. Please be sure any plants are covered upon taking them outdoors when the temps are below 50 degrees.
Our repotting charges are as follows: Specialty plants such as orchids, bonsai and cacti have a $2 charge per inch diameter of the pot your plant gets potted into. Most indoor plants have a charge of $1 per inch diameter of the pot your plant gets potted into. IE a 6" pot is a $6 charge.
It is common for us to ask you to leave your plants for a day or two so that we can spend some time working on them, especially for larger plants or during our busiest seasons, however we will not hold plants for extended periods of time. Please call with any questions! We'd love to help you with your indoor plant repotting!
